Anthony Young has been involved in drag racing since 1974 when he crew'd for the Manual & Mike Flores' Flat head powered dragster, two years later he would be campaigning a 1972 Vega in Gas Coupe catagory at the drags. In 1980 Anthony was piloting a top gas dragster in NHRA Division 7 and quickly moved up to top Alcohol dragster in 1989. During the 1990's Anthony began running at El Mirage and Bonneville in the Bentley, Moreno and Young Roadster and it was at that time that they were referred to as the "Pico Rivera Boys " known for their ability to go very fast. Anthony crew'd on Al Teague's No. 76 Streamliner and also drove the Frantuto Brothers' roadster during this time and in 1997 Anthony went to Japan to participate in the NHRA World Finals. Today Anthony completed building his rear engine modified roadster at home and is running it at El Mirage and Bonneville. The roadster is powered by a fuel injected early 392 Chrysler Hemi engine using TORCO Racing Fuel's Nitro methane and Methanol Alcohol.
